Fake login pages mimic Facebook with increasing precision. But a few clues always allow you to identify them quickly.
1. Check the URL first
The address must start with facebook.com. Any other domain — facebok.com, facebook-security.info — is suspicious.
⚠️ An HTTPS padlock doesn't guarantee a site's legitimacy. Fraudsters can obtain an SSL certificate for their fake page.
2. Analyze the layout
A fake page often shows inconsistencies: slightly different fonts, pixelated logo, poorly translated text.
3. Beware of urgency
Messages like "your account will be suspended in 24h" aim to short-circuit your thinking. Always take time to verify.
💡 When in doubt, close the page and access Facebook directly from your app.
